Twitter says it’s better at spotting abusive tweets than users

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey initially said the company plans to take a more active role in monitoring its platform last September. The promise came from a hearing by the House Committee asking Dorsey why the company needed more than five hours to remove an abusive tweet against Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late Arizona Senator John McCain. While these latest figures from Twitter are promising, they give no indication of how much work the company still has to do. For example, the company still needs to specify exactly how much abuse occurs on its platform.
